GNC Engineer

We are looking for a GNC Engineer to join a team developing AOCS/GNC algorithms and test environments. You will work on dynamic systems modelling, simulation, HW/SW testing, and data analysis — including support for commissioning and in-orbit performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze AOCS/GNC (Guidance, Navigation & Control) algorithms.

  • Perform dynamic systems modelling and build simulation-ready models.

  • Develop and maintain AOCS/GNC testbeds and verification environments.

  • Build a Real World Simulator for AOCS/GNC algorithm testing.

  • Prepare test procedures and participate in HW/SW laboratory testing campaigns.

  • Post-process, analyze, and evaluate test data as well as flight/orbit data.

  • Prepare commissioning procedures and scripts supporting in-orbit activities.

  • Participate in AOCS system in-orbit commissioning and performance assessment.

  • Contribute to in-house tools, libraries, and simulation frameworks.

Key requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink.

  • Solid control systems background.

  • Familiarity with systems engineering concepts (requirements, interfaces, V&V).

  • At least basic Python skills (scripting, automation, data handling).

  • Intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent professional English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

  • MATLAB Control System Toolbox.

  • Advanced control techniques (robust control, MPC, nonlinear control, etc.).

  • Experience in the space industry / AOCS/GNC domain.

  • Automatic code generation (e.g., Embedded Coder) and/or embedded deployment exposure.

  • Basic C programming.

  • Experience with version control systems (Git, etc.).

  • Familiarity with AOCS/GNC sensors and actuators, integration and testing practices.

Oferujemy

  • Form of cooperation: Employment contract or B2B (your choice).
  • Location: Wrocław  / Katowice / Warszawa / Kraków / REMOTE
