AOCS Engineer

We are looking for an AOCS Engineer to work on the design, development and validation for satellite missions, including small satellite and CubeSat platforms.

This role is focused on engineering work: requirements analysis, control algorithms, simulations, subsystem testing and mission support. You will be involved across the full mission lifecycle — from early design concepts to launch and in-orbit operations.

We are currently considering applications only from candidates based in EU or the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AOCS solutions for satellite missions.
  • Support the definition and analysis of mission and system requirements.
  • Support AOCS subsystem testing, including hardware and software verification.
  • Contribute to AOCS hardware design at system and subsystem level.
  • Work with flight software, flight hardware and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Support mission engineering, systems engineering and satellite operations when needed.

Candidate profile

This position is well suited for an engineer who prefers focused technical work, clear responsibilities and a high level of autonomy. The role requires close cooperation with other engineering disciplines, but the core of the work is analytical, structured and hands-on.

We are looking for someone who can think independently, go deep into technical problems and contribute to reliable AOCS solutions for real satellite missions.

Key requirements

  • MSc or PhD in aerospace engineering, control systems, robotics, mechatronics, electronics, physics or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of AOCS / GNC design.
  • Experience with control systems, dynamic systems or satellite attitude control.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical tasks and communicate clearly when alignment is needed.

Nice to have

  • Experience with satellite, CubeSat or small satellite projects.
  • Knowledge of AOCS sensors and actuators, such as reaction wheels, magnetorquers, star trackers, sun sensors or gyroscopes.
  • Experience with pointing performance, stability analysis or robustness verification.

Oferujemy

  • Forma współpracy: Umowa o pracę lub B2B (do wyboru).
  • Miejsce pracy: Remote
